The 19th-century Dohány utcai zsinagóga (Great Synagogue) is Europe's largest and runs tours of the Jewish Quarter. The striped and domed Neo-Moorish building also houses the Hungarian Jewish Museum.
Szent István-bazilik
The Neo-Classical Szent István-bazilik (St Stephen's Basilica) has vibrant stained glass and a towering dome. Some tickets grant access to the terrace outside the cupola – the highest lookout in Pest.
