Few images encapsulate Penzance better than the tiny island of St Michael's Mount which sits just within reach when the tide is low.   • Don your walking boots and head off along the coast path to Porthcurno from Penzance. You'll pass spectacular rock formations, fishing hamlets and a nature reserve with a dramatic clifftop backdrop.
