- Don your walking boots and head off along the coast path to Porthcurno from Penzance. You'll pass spectacular rock formations, fishing hamlets and a nature reserve with a dramatic clifftop backdrop.
Take the local bus out to Geevor tin mine (made famous by Poldark) – a fascinating way to explore Cornwall's industrial history.
