  • Head to Piazza San Zeno on Sunday mornings to browse the large flea market, the stall holders sell all kinds of objects - look out for the classic Italian antiques.
  • Cross the Adige River to explore Veronetta, the laid-back area is popular with students and has great street food and bars. The area is also known as Little Jerusalem as medieval pilgrims on their way there were reminded of Jerusalem by the steep hills and cypress trees. Be sure to visit Giardino Giusti - an exquisite example of a 16th century landscaped garden.
